Making sweet potato ravioli for dinner. I've made them before and used the recipe's suggestion of wonton wrappers in order to 'save time'. They were scrumptious before, but I liked the idea of making my own pasta dough instead. And guess what? It took less time! You can line up lots of piles of filling on one long sheet of pasta rather than tons of individual wrappers that tend to stick and tear. I am really looking forward to dinner!

What? Loralee, it can't possibly be faster. Seriously. Come now.
I need to get a pasta machine. We should start up a weekly cooking/baking challenge and get in on this together!
Tomorrow I am making cream puffs...but I bet you've already done that too!
Geesh. Just don't start start scrapbooking! ;)
That would be a lot of fun! I'd enjoy that--it'd be cool to have your inspiration in my baking/cooking plans.
The pasta machine is really great--it's a manual one, and I don't think they're that expensive. The dough is flour and egg, and it's so darn good.
And no worries--scrapbooking is way too much for me. I don't have that kind of creativity. I sure enjoy seeing what you do, though.
